This edition of the play is full of typographical errors, as if the person who copied it did not know the English language and did not know that mistake were being made. I guess you do get what you pay for. This Kindle version: 0. The Kindle version of this play is so riddled with typos that it distracts the reader from Williams' amazing narrative. It's difficult to maintain the internal flow of the story while trying to mentally negotiate 1's used in place of exclamation points, erroneous capitalizations, and many many misspellings.

To enjoy this wonderful work, you should purchase a different Kindle version. One person found this helpful. The scene with Jim and Laura was especially well done. The skillfull description bringing out a lost soul to a joyous level was well done and believable. A must read for all ages. Major it is a little typical for me to like this play.

As a theatre Major it is a little typical for me to like this play, but the characters are truly complex and interesting. A lot of plays just can't be read. The Glass Menagerie is an exception. I've read it twice - once in high school and once in college - and loved it both times. Good story that every can enjoy. My granddaughter needed some warm clothing for Korea which was going to be a lot colder in January than her home in California. She got a lot of use from these and I did not get any complaints.
